When zoomed into an image, pan the document left or right by holding down the Ctrl (Mac: Command) key and scrolling the mouse-wheel. Scroll up to pan to the left or scroll down to pan to the document right. Hold Alt (Mac: Option) and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in or out.
