Identifying & Selecting Layers

When working in compositions with many layers, finding and selecting the layer you want from the Layers Panel can be a difficult task (especially if you forgot to name your layers!)

To easily find and select the layer you want, you can click on the element you want to select by using the Move tool and holding the right mouse button; you’ll then get a drop-down menu with the names of all the groups and layers below the point you clicked on. You can then easily select the right layer to edit.
