Use the Move Tool to See the Distance Between Two Objects in Photoshop

Use this handy Photoshop keyboard shortcut to see the distance between two objects.

First, select any layer from the Layers Panel. Then while the Move Tool is active, hold Ctrl (Windows) Command (macOS) and hover over any other layer on the canvas. The Smart Guides overlays will reveal the distance between the two layers.
