Try this Photoshop keyboard shortcut to activate multiple layers in your Layers Panel.

Press Shift Alt [ (Windows) Shift Option [ (macOS) to activate the layer below the currently selected layer (or the ] key to activate the layer above).

You can keep adding one layer at a time to the selection by tapping either bracket key while holding Shift and Alt/Option.
