Linked Smart Objects are objects in your Photoshop document that do not live within the file. Instead, they reference an external document.
This allows you to have one file that controls one specific object in multiple Photoshop documents. If the linked file is edited, then all the other documents referencing it will reflect the change.
In this video, I will show you how to embed a logo across 3 different documents as a Linked Smart Object, and how to update the original file to reflect the changes on all 3 Photoshop documents.
The logo we’ll use in this tutorial will be that of Chronos, a company that my brother-in-law co-funded. Chronos makes a device that turns your regular watch into a smartwatch.
