Link Photos Between Lightroom and Photoshop

Your choices stick across every tutorial on this device.

In this video, I will show you how to link photos between Photoshop and Lightroom.

This technique will allow Photoshop to reflect any changes made to the RAW file in Lightroom.

Also, since I normally don’t get to teach Lightroom, I spend some time going over some of my favorite keyboard shortcuts that you can use while developing your photos.

To be frank with you, I may have given way too many shortcuts, but I still hope that you find them useful.

  1. This would be so useful if it worked! But in my hands (PS CC 2018, LR Classic CC) the file in PS reverts to the original, unedited version. Doesn’t reflect changes made in LR, doesn’t reflect LR modifications made before I opened the file for the first time in PS. Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong?

  2. I have Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5, in PS File > Place Linked isn’t there Place on its own shows. Is there another way I can link these two programs together?
