I am Jesús Ramirez, a graphic artist and Photoshop educator with more than 22 years of experience. I founded the Photoshop Training Channel in July 2012 to answer the question people kept asking me: “Just show me how you did that.” The YouTube channel now has more than 2.3 million subscribers, and this site is where the written, step-by-step versions of those tutorials live.
What I do
I create film and TV posters for CBS, Discovery, HBO, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount+, and Roku. The techniques I teach here are the ones I use in my commercial work, which is why the tutorials tend to skip the theory and go straight to the part where you have a deadline.
I write every tutorial on this site myself. There is no content team.
Work with Adobe
- I create official Adobe training content for Photoshop, Firefly, and Lightroom. My articles and training videos appear on the Adobe website, including Adobe HelpX and the Adobe blog.
- Some of my contributions have shipped inside Photoshop itself, as templates and as features, including the invert checkbox in the Hue/Saturation adjustment.
Speaking
I have spoken at more than 50 conferences worldwide, including Adobe MAX. My sessions cover the tools, techniques, and workflows used in real commercial production.
Courses and publications
My Photoshop courses are available in the PTC course store. I have also taught as a CreativeLive instructor and a Pluralsight author, and my work and tutorials have been covered by KelbyOne magazine, PetaPixel, Fstoppers, Digital Photography School, and DIY Photography.
Where to find me
