This tutorial will teach you how to create the Game of Thrones poster using simple techniques that will get you amazing results.

We’ll use Times New Roman as the font family, and I’ll show you how to use the Character panel along with shapes to transform the text.

I’ll also show you how to use Layer Styles to create a realistic chrome effect.

That was an awesome tutorial. The creation of the sword is by far the simplest method I’ve ever seen.

With my background at 1400×740 pixels, if I use Times New Roman type at 72pt it dwarfs the background image. Am I misunderstanding something?

Anne,

Have you checked your image resolution? I have mine set at 72.

You can also download the PSD I provided and compare it to your own.

If you still have problems, feel free to send me your PSD and I could look at.

I think it’s a great lesson. Only the text contains so many operations where
I learn a lot from. Part 2 with the sword in the creation, that part is yet or who
your website even download.

To activate multiple layers using your keyboard, press Shift Alt [ (Mac: Shift Option [) to activate the layer below the currently selected layer (or the ] key to activate the layer above).

You can keep adding to the selection one layer at a time by tapping on either of the bracket keys while holding down Shift and Alt (Mac: Option).
