Make a Baseball Jersey Text Style In Photoshop
Create a Baseball Jersey Text Style Using Photoshop
In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to create a baseball jersey text style from scratch.
In case you’re wondering, I randomly selected the number #48, but the name on the jersey is actually my Twitter screen name!
If you have a Twitter account, you can follow me @JRfromPTC!
In this Text Effect Tutorial, I’ll go through the steps of creating a textured background to replicate the fabric of jerseys, and I’ll also show you how to create the stitching around the text using a custom brush.
The font used in this tutorial is Jersey M54, which can be downloaded for free at Dafont.com

I love the tutorials, but I have yet to be able to download the tutorial files when you have to go through Facebook. It was much better when you just had the downloads available without the Facebook / Twitter Links.
Tommy, thanks for your comment, but you are not required to share the page on Facebook or Twitter to download the files, there’s an “X” on the top right you can click.
Loved this one. Keep up the good work and will be waiting for the next one.
Thanks Terrance!
Thanks for the tutorial 🙂 I only have Elements 11 so couldn’t really go from the stitching and beyond (no paths, groups etc) but for the most part I could follow along and was happy with the result. Look forward to your next tutorial.
Cool! Thanks for trying it with Elements Lea!
Thanks for the tutorials. Even if I don’t emulate your lesson I can often use the principles or a technique in my own design practices. Looking forward to future lessons. If you’re interested, here’s my portfolio: https://www.facebook.com/pages/MTech-Enterprises/108125962594230?sk=photos_stream
