Great tutorial. I am amazed with the details that I learn or relearn each time I watch; small tips that are embedded within the lesson. Even though I may not ever need this technique for an image that creates this specifically, I will keep so many of those details that will help me in so many other images and with other techniques.

To activate multiple layers using your keyboard, press Shift Alt [ (Mac: Shift Option [) to activate the layer below the currently selected layer (or the ] key to activate the layer above).

You can keep adding to the selection one layer at a time by tapping on either of the bracket keys while holding down Shift and Alt (Mac: Option).
